Installation Troubleshooting – BeamNG.drive

This page will guide you on how to resolve software installation issues.

Corrupted Files

Steam

If you suspect that there is an issue with the integrity of installed files, please try the following steps:

1. Open Steam
2. Navigate to your Library
3. Right click on BeamNG.drive and select Properties
4. Go to Installed files tab
5. Click on Verify Integrity of game files
6. If this did not help, please perform a

   Clean Install.

Humble Bundle

Please perform a

Transfer Game Folder

In some cases you may need to transfer the game to another disk.

Transfer game to cloud storages or external storages may cause issues. The game won’t work correcly if you launch the game from such storages

Steam

Do not just move the folder. The game will be downloaded again to the old folder and it may not update correctly

Please try the following steps:

1. Open Steam
2. Navigate to your Library
3. Right click on BeamNG.drive and select Properties
4. Go to Installed files tab
5. Click on Move install folder
6. Select preferred disk

Humble Bundle

This process can be done easily by just moving the folder to another disk.

We recommend to keep files in the old location until you successfully finish the proccess of the transfer.
